Castelbarco is first of all an experience of human education and the wellbeing program helps students grow independently, responsibly and consciously.
All residents’ tasks are aimed at making students aware of how important are the mutual commitment and collaboration for an harmonious and happy coexistence. The system of assignments takes into account the predisposition and skills of each student!
Volunteering is an opportunity to grow, and train for, an altruistic human awareness. Students can give their time to serve others while discovering how much they receive back in return.
Every Wednesday night some residents go to Cadorna Railway Station of Milan to to distribute food and clothes to those in need, others spend their time helping Piccolo Cottolengo Don Orione.
Every year Castelbarco students spend part of their summer vacations volunteering abroad.Since 2018 Rui’s residents have also been working with the Kenya WorkCamp, an action born from the desire of Italian students to help people living in poverty or disadvantaged situations.
There is no shortage of sports activities in the daily life at the Residence, there is the gym, available every days and students organise football and basketball matches.
Every year Castelbarco participates in a football Championship, called TIAS, that our students won several times.
Moreover conferences, congresses, and theater performances make Castelbarco living room a place where, every year, leading players from the worlds of art, music, literature, current events and professionals come together.
The party with residents’ families in May is the most significant event that take place every year.
Castelbarco is a place where passion for every dimension of human nature is stimulated, with the genuine university spirit: open to truth and respectful of everyone’s freedom.
The Hall of Residence provides the opportunity to confront important questions about human existence.
Castelbarco follows some traditions that every Christian family does and we celebrate the Holy Mass. The chaplain is available to all students.
Participation in these activities is always voluntary and the Residence is open to students of any religious denomination.
Among the different activities proposed at our residence, there is Castelbarco’s choir, that accompanies the Sunday Holy Mass and the celebrations during important moments of the year.
